This feast is an important event done amongst the samberigi people. It becomes economical revenue making for the families who slaughter pigs and others. The host's relatives will come with traditional shell money(sekete) and PNG Kina to give it them those are slaughtering pigs.If you like this can be called cultural trading. Its also a time for reunion between their friends and relatives. It is a culture that brings of pride and a sense of manhood for those who slaughters more pigs. This is done with traditional dancing and singing by both men and women.
