The growth of Gods work

The first Gogodala Pastors.

Gods work amongst the samberigi people started after Dick Donaldson and pastor Daki came in prayed while the samberigi,s were figthing amongst the Yankuri and Marorogo people. Late pioneer Missionary Don Mosely came to Samberigi in 1956. Alongside him were the Gogodala pastors of the western Province.

Then to locallize the burden of skillfully teaching of the word local samberigi Pastors from samberigi, Yankuri, Marorogo and Erave were trained.

Missionary, Rev Mark Kengeli Kave and family near lake Sentani Jayapura, Indonesia.

After these  amazing Pioneering Pastors were Pastors like, Ps Yawa Pali, Lombere Rayali, Wea Suape, Saiya Tapi, Philip Dokeriki and others. They have heard the call of God and  are faithful in serving the Lord one way or the other.

However, the samberigi people have not stopped there. They have planted churches in Kikori and across the border villages of Gulf and the Souhtern Highlands Province. They have their local Missionaries like Pastor Yapipe Mano and Ben serving in the border church and in Kikori town churches.

An also Samberigi Church has not stopped there but have contributed to the scenes of mission work in the international level to ECPNG. ECPNG,s first pioneer missionary family are origionally from the Samberigi.

They are now serving in Indonesia with the Evangelical Church of Indonesia.

A challeng for us the Samberigi's: God has not finished with us , He is waiting for us. Arise Samberigians, God wants to shine His light upon you once again. History has spoken and we believe He will repeat the history again. Glory be to the Lord who is worthy of all praise and honor. We are unworthy servants only doing our duties.
